It’s been a couple of months that Samsung has already released their latest flagship smartphone, Samsung S26 Ultra. And I’ve just spent a whole month with the phone. Honestly, the experience is like a mixed bag. There were some things that I was really excited for that are actually quite disappointing in reality. But also a few things that I didn’t expect that have ended up as the real beast. 

However, in this Galaxy S26 Ultra, Samsung has not changed the cameras and the battery again. So what’s so special about the phone? Well, Samsung has come up with aluminium again and the phone features hundreds of AI features. So, let’s find out whether it is worth the money or not.

Therefore, pre-orders started immediately after the announcement, giving eager buyers a chance to reserve their devices the same day. So, the first good news for Ultra fans is that Samsung has kept the starting price at $1,299.99 for the third year in a row. That means the Galaxy S26 Ultra costs the same as both the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S24 Ultra, despite several hardware upgrades.

However, the story is a little different for the other models in the lineup. The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ each received a $100 price increase. The starting prices are $859.99 and $1,059.99, respectively, for the 256GB versions.

Additionally, Samsung has doubled the base storage on the standard Galaxy S26. Instead of starting at 128GB like previous generations, it now comes with 256GB as standard. It offers users twice the storage without needing to upgrade to a higher-tier model.
