That answer finally arrived, though funny enough, Samsung's own app spilled it before Samsung could say it out loud. This got caught in Malaysia. Samsung Members app users there suddenly began receiving promotional voucher notices, first spotted by Hitech Century. Voucher amounts alone won't raise eyebrows: one worth 700 ringgit (roughly $170), another worth 200 ringgit (roughly $50). Real mystery hides elsewhere. That first voucher can be spent on Samsung's "next foldable", second one on a "next wearable". Both turn valid exactly from July 22.

Now do the math. Samsung always opens pre-orders on Unpacked day itself. If vouchers for a still-unnamed foldable activate from July 22, an announcement lands that very day. Voucher details reveal more: online purchases run from July 22, in-store buying from August 11. Meaning phones reach hands roughly three weeks after announcement, Samsung's familiar playbook.

Samsung has a history of such "carelessness" too. This year's February Unpacked date also got caught in one of their own campaign documents before any official word, with a formal invitation arriving next day. Last year's math offers another guess. That July 2025 Unpacked announcement came 16 days before its event. By that pattern, this year's official invitation could drop any day now.

Three foldables: a wide-design new Galaxy Z Fold 8, a premium Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, plus Galaxy Z Flip 8. Alongside them two watches: Galaxy Watch 9 plus Watch Ultra 2. Strong rumors surround Samsung's first smart glasses, Galaxy Glasses, as well. London keeps coming up as its venue, though that hasn't found proof as solid as these vouchers, so that stays in rumor's notebook for now.

For an ordinary buyer, useful takeaway is this: planning to buy a new foldable or watch, mark July 22 on your calendar. That Malaysian voucher left another hint too, Samsung is laying out discount spreads early this time, so pre-order offers at launch carry good chances of being generous.
